Just be saying a little prayer for Rosita and Doris as we had problems with them and them not wanting to be seen and unsure of what the dentist was going to do to them. They will be hopefully be returning this week to get their teeth checked up on. Sisi
What matters most to me is to finish what God started: the job the Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know all about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God. Acts 20:24

There is a dentist brigade here this week through Cadena de Amor. They have been coming here to do dental work for the past two years here in Santa Ana. This year makes it three years. Today they got to see most of the casa kids. Here below are some pictures from today...............

Welcome to Casa
As for those of you who read my blog regularly you might remember about two months ago I had a blog about two little girl's named Sisi and Rosita. They were taken in last night after being found that they were not being taken care of and such. So now they have Casa to call home. They came here late this afternoon. Please be praying for them as they transition and adapt to live here at Casa.
Rosita can not hear, we are planning next week to take her to a specialist to get checked out and see if hearing aids is an option or if she is completely deaf. Tonight it was pretty funny all of us doing charades to communicate with her. I guess we are all going to have to learn sign language.
I will continue to keep you all update on their progress here at Casa.

Johny
Since being back I can see a huge change in Johny. Before I left to go back to the states he had only been here at Casa about a week or so I believe. Well he was standoffish and not very talkative. He now wants to help with everything and wants to ride on my back or cuddle up on my lap and just comes and gives random hugs as he passes by me. At devo before he was quite and just was taking everything in. Now is wanting to start the songs and he is wanting to pray and just go go go!
So thanks to all of you who have prayed for Johny. God is growing him up for sure. In bringing Johny to Casa I can see Johny is finding love, comfort, and most importantly God here. So keep the prayers up!

Celebrating the day of the Lemperia
Mr. Lemperia is what you see here in Honduras on the one dollar bill but here it is called one lemp. He is an indian and played an important part here in the history of Honduras. So the kids in kinder celebrated today and got to dress up like indians. They loved it especially Fernando. They marched in Santa Ana and were all so proud of themselves.
Although it was a little bit short of notice to get the kids outfits all ready. Sandra had been working hard on Monica's but the rest of them we all worked together and pulled them together yesterday morning.

back to honduras we go....
So our month at home as come to an end. We have been here in Ohio for a month and Dorian has enjoyed getting to see where I am from and getting to meet many people he would not get to met otherwise. So that has been a huge blessing but a little overwhelming at times for him. He is ready to be back in Honduras and to be around those who speak spanish. All of this english has been too much for him. As for me I am ready to be back there too and to get back to work at the childrens home. I miss those kiddos for sure!!
So thank you to each and everyone of you who have had us over, took us out to eat, genuinely was concerned for us and asked how we are doing, and have prayed and supported us. This trip was much different than what we had expected. We came here for me to get to the Dr. and thought I was going to have to have surgery. Well God for sure took care of all of that and we got to spend time here just relaxing and spending time with those we love.

Chores
Johny
At Casa we are trying to get the kids to be responsible and do chores and learn how to take care of what they have. Well sometimes it is quit the task to get them to do their chores. It would be much easier for me to go ahead and do it sometimes than to go around and around with them to try to get them to do their chores. Although I am persistent at keeping on them to get their chores done and I hold off and do not do it for them.
We have a chore chart there at Casa and weekly the kids chores are changed and there is some other chore they are incharge of for the week. If they seem to not like the chore for the week and are lazy at doing it or just tries to get around with out doing the chore then they are often given the chore for a second week until they get it down and they can do it right.
The Saturday before I left to go home we did have some random chores not ones that are on the chore chart but needed done. The kids had to scrub and clean their chairs and clean out the trash cans. They grumbled and complained a little at first but once they started they loved it and kept wanting to clean more!!!! It is always good when they make chores fun!

Dancing Queen
Little Miss Doris was reserved and shy and sort of kept to herself when she first came. As time passed we found out that she is in love with music. You find her often just singing away....whether we understand her or not is a whole other story. Music is one of the things for sure that we have found that makes her tick. We have also found out that she loves to dance. Someone recently had sent us some CD's well it has became the kids favorite CD right now. They play it on the DVD player and dance, dance, and dance. Especially Miss Doris!!!
