One step at a time she is making progress!!!
What matters most to me is to finish what God started: the job the Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know all about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God. Acts 20:24

Pamela
So we made it home from the hospital this afternoon. Pamela's surgery went well and she is going well. She is going to have to take it easy for the next two weeks which will be hard on her. She goes back to the Dr. Tues evening and from there we will find out what else we need to do and what the next step is that we need to take.Thank you for all of your prayers!

Pamela
So we have finally got the surgery scheduled for Pamela's foot. This week she will be having surgery on Friday. It is just to reconstruct her foot where she is having pain. She had been hit by a car when younger and had plastic surgery done then. Well it seems as if it was not done right the 1st time. So she goes this Friday to a plastis surgeon to get it done again and hopefully she will be able to walk, run, and just enjoy life better. This year has been tough on her with the pain she often feels in her foot.
So all of your prayers would be greatly appreciated on her behalf!

two front teeth
All she wanted wanted for Christmas were her two front teeth!
Monica has been without her two front teeth since Aug. or so. There is no sign of them coming in soon either! It just gives her more character! She loves it and is sure to show everyone! In fact she just pulled a front bottom tooth out yesterday!

Bikes
For Christmas the all 11 bikes got repaired! Monica, Daniela, and Cindy have all learned to ride a bike just in a few days. The kids are loving it! We of course are trying to teach them how to better take care of them now.
Thanks Janet and Gayle for doing this for the kiddos!

Dec 08 Newsletter
Dec 2008
We have been blessed during December with many of you giving towards the bunk beds/closets for our children and also for helping us with Christmas gifts for the children here at Casa. Thank you to each and everyone of you who has given!
The children here continue to find lots of new things to do while they are out of school. They are really enjoying card games and they love it when we have game night. I will need to find some more games for them to play.
It has warmed up but is still gets cold at night. Weiner roasts are also always popular.
We have all the paperwork completed for Pamela's surgery on her foot, we are just waiting for it to be scheduled. Waiting is just a way of life here in Honduras.
The AIM interns have continued to help out; especially with sign language classes for Rosy and the other children.
Bicycles got repaired for Christmas and now Monica and Daniela have learned to ride and are so proud of themselves. New Year's Eve the children were allowed to stay up and we had pizza, games and playing outside after dark. All of the children remained awake until after midnight believe it or not. Dorian was able to organize a Christmas dinner for the church and God continues to bless our efforts with the congregation here. Dorian is hoping to begin attending college classes in January. Our life will only get busier as he continues to minister to the Santa Ana congregation and attempt to finish his college education. All of your continued support and prayers are invaluable to us. We could not serve her in Honduras without your support.
May the blessing you and your family receive in 2009 be beyond what you can even imagine!
Blessings~

So 2009 is here
The kids here at Casa celebrated New Years Eve. I am not too sure some of them even understood what was going on or what we were celebrating! Some of them are still asking when we are having Christmas again and others have asked when are we going to have a party again and stay up all night.
All of them made it up til midnight. Although we were going to go outside at midnight to watch all of the fireworks but they were literally coming every which direction and we had to watch from inside. They were landing left and right in our yard! Earlier in the night we did a little bit of fireworks here at the house and the kids loved it!!
And I was a little worried they would all be up at the crack up dawn the next morning but they stayed in bed till 9:30. :)
