happy birthday miss maryuri!!!! The BIG 5!!!!!!
What matters most to me is to finish what God started: the job the Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know all about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God. Acts 20:24

Ohio/WV
I came home last Thrus and I am here for about two weeks visiting and taking a break. REST................is for sure in my plans! It feels so good to just be and not having so much responsiblity. So for now I am here in Ohio with family and friends taking a break.
Please continue to pray for Honduras and the leadership and govermental happenings right now. Right now there is some turmoil and lots of prayers are needed, but our God is great BIG and I know without a shadow of a doubt that he will take care of us.

Sign Language
There was a small group in from different parts of the states, but they all came together for one purpose to help at Manos Felizes,(Happy Hands). That is where Rosy goes to school. They came out to the house one afternoon to do some activties that included all of the children. The kids loved it!! They always are looking for new ways to communicate with Rosy!!!

Best Friends
Linda and Pamela
Since having our new Tia Siomara here at Casa, Pamela has really adjusted to having Siomara's daughters here. She loves Linda. They are usually together all of the time and like two peas in a pod. It has been good for Pamela to have someone else her age here with her. This Saturday Pamela is turning 12 years old. Growing up on me way to fast!

missing teeth
Reina, lost some of her bottom teeth after finally just getting back her front teeth after more than 6 months of waiting on the new teeth to come in.
Their new thing to do here at the house, when they loose their tooth they throw it on the roof of the house. Do not know if it a culture thing or just the kiddos here at Casa.

May 2009 Update
May 2009
May has been another busy month. Mother's Day is a huge celebration here in Honduras. Every school the children attend have special Mother's Day programs. At church we also have special services and celebrations.
My brother Brian arrived here to help us over his summer off from Harding. Brian is learning to drive here so he can help get the children to and from school and appointments while I come to the states for a short trip last of June, first of July and Terri who usually does all of our running is heading to the states also.
The Casa store blog should be finished and up and going on line soon, and then those of you who are wanting to buy from it will be able to on the internet!! :) Summer groups have begun and we always look forward to them. It is a busy busy time but the kids love getting to form new relationships and see old ones.
Dorian has begun a new quarter at college and keeps quite busy between classes and ministering to the congregation here at Santa Ana. He was able to slip away to Nicaragua for a couple days to love on his momma.
Pamela finally got rid of her crutches and is walking pain free once again. We remain very busy, just getting each child to their school, helping them complete their assignments and various medical and counseling appointments. Casa children attend four different schools and keeping up with all the schedules is overwhelming at times.
Thanks to everyone who called and checked on us when a major earthquake hit Honduras. We were not affected by the earthquake here at Santa Ana. Just pray for those who were affected and continue to deal with the after effects.
Please pray that we with the awesome privilege of loving these children continue to look upwards for our strength and love.
Blessings~
Dorian& Karen Guido
