Dec 08 Newsletter

Dec 2008

We have been blessed during December with many of you giving towards the bunk beds/closets for our children and also for helping us with Christmas gifts for the children here at Casa. Thank you to each and everyone of you who has given!
The children here continue to find lots of new things to do while they are out of school. They are really enjoying card games and they love it when we have game night. I will need to find some more games for them to play.
It has warmed up but is still gets cold at night. Weiner roasts are also always popular.
We have all the paperwork completed for Pamela's surgery on her foot, we are just waiting for it to be scheduled. Waiting is just a way of life here in Honduras.
The AIM interns have continued to help out; especially with sign language classes for Rosy and the other children.
Bicycles got repaired for Christmas and now Monica and Daniela have learned to ride and are so proud of themselves. New Year's Eve the children were allowed to stay up and we had pizza, games and playing outside after dark. All of the children remained awake until after midnight believe it or not. Dorian was able to organize a Christmas dinner for the church and God continues to bless our efforts with the congregation here. Dorian is hoping to begin attending college classes in January. Our life will only get busier as he continues to minister to the Santa Ana congregation and attempt to finish his college education. All of your continued support and prayers are invaluable to us. We could not serve her in Honduras without your support.
May the blessing you and your family receive in 2009 be beyond what you can even imagine!

Blessings~
Dorian and Karen Guido
