Today we started getting geared back up for school. Elvia along with some of the older kids sorted and looked for all of the school containers in our bodega. We think most of them where found.
So Elvia and I started sorting all of the stuff out this morning and calling the kids in one by one to try on pants, skirts, shoes, gym pants, and shirts on. It took us most of the morning.
There are only a few things we have to buy. With 16 out of 17 kids going to school and only having to buy a few things is wonderful. Next week we hope to get book bags and some supplies in their book bags. Since we are getting all of the stuff sorted and organized the kids are getting pretty excited and are ready to go back to school. I am sure it will not take very long for some of them to be in school for them to decide that they want to be on vacation again.
We still do not know exactly when school starts yet but around the 15th of February. We go to register the kids the first week in February and then we should know for sure when school does start back up.
