There was lots of craziness last night as Honduras beat El Salvador! Honduras now qualifies for the World Cup in South Africa. There was so much excitement here in Santa Ana as they won. People yelling and screaming and filling the streets. I can only imagine what it was like in Teguc. For once the streets filled full of people but not due to the riots and protests but in celebration.

Honduras has not qualified for the World Cup since 1982.

So to celebrate the president called today a national holiday!
